Terms and Conditions of membership

Generally. Member agrees to pay the annual fees established for its Membership Class, as may be amended from time to time in accordance with the Bylaws. Dues are yearly and payment is required upon signing (to activate membership) and upon renewal (on the anniversary of membership activation). AAMAN will bill Member for dues in advance by written invoice, and payment will be due within thirty (30) days of mailing.

Compliance with Policies. Member agrees to abide by, and shall have all applicable rights and obligations as set forth in, the Bylaws, AAMAN Intellectual Property Rights Policy (the "IPR Policy"), the Privacy Policy, and any and all additional policies and procedures adopted by AAMAN, as any of these may be amended from time to time, all of which are hereby incorporated by reference (the "AAMAN Policies").

Suspension and Termination. The AAMAN Board, at its election, may terminate membership upon bankruptcy or withdrawal from or cessation of business by Member. AAMAN shall also have the right to (i) suspend participation of Member if it fails to pay its annual fees on time, or (ii) suspend or cancel participation of Member if it violates any of the AAMAN's Policies or engages in conduct seriously prejudicial to the purposes and interests of AAMAN and fails to correct that breach within thirty (30) days of notice from AAMAN or AAMAN staff, Member shall be concidered "Not In Good Standing". No refunds of Membership fees or other payments will be given. Suspension and termination are subject to AAMAN's Bylaw.

On behalf of our Board, dedicated staff, hundreds of families and individuals nationwide, thank you for your interest in joining AAMAN! Your AAMAN Membership will need to be Confirmed. After Confirmation, you will become a member of the oldest, largest, and most dynamic African-American Non-profit in the city and county of La Crosse, Wisconsin, California, Michigan, and Nevada! You can choose between 3-levels of Membership, i.e. Active Board Member, Support Member, and Community Member.

Membership in the African American Mutual Assistance Network, Inc. is by invitation only from a current AAMAN Member in Good Standing.
Anyone who is an immediate family member of an eligible AAMAN Member can join.
