Your vehicle and/or property donation will make a difference!

During the year and especially when the tax year comes to an end… you’ll find our no-cost hassle-free nationwide Vehicle and Property donation programs maximize both the size of your charity contribution and the amount of your tax deduction. We achieve both goals by consistently providing the nation’s best payment percentage plan and negotiating the highest possible vehicle and car sale prices. Our complete vehicle and property donation program's solution and total dedication to customer service ensure the best possible experience for our donors.

Our Donation Partners distributes the funds raised from the sale of your vehicle and property donation directly to AAMAN to help maintain and expand our Educational, Community, and Youth Programs. Our Donation Partners sells your donated vehicle and property through a national network of auction and salvage houses to ensure the maximum donation possible.

For donated Vehicles, we have towing agents in all areas of the United States. If you are wanting to give back to the community, make a donation to a worthy cause, or ready to clean-up your yard, ally, storage, street or garage ASAP; then, donate your running, non-Running, junk, and salvage car, motorcycle, boat, truck, RV, jet ski, and or your snowmobile to AAMAN.

You receive a tax deduction for your property and/or vehicle donation!

AAMAN is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit. The IRS allows vehicle and property donors to receive a tax deduction on their donated vehicles and properties. Donating your vehicle and/or property is a no-cost hassle-free way to get rid of your unwanted vehicle and property.

When donating your vehicle to AAMAN, you can avoid the anxiety and hassle of selling to a private party and dealing with used car salesmen in haggling over a trade-in. Donating your vehicle also avoids the potential repair costs of unused cars, boats or trucks, and with free door-to-door for all donors, our vehicle donors are never out of pocket when donating. We even can pick up your vehicle at the auto repair shop or by the side of the road!

When donating your property to AAMAN, our program takes any property type (land, homes, commercial) in any location so long as there is equity. Even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance or have deferred maintenance, it's no problem. We will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed and all closing costs. If you have a real estate asset that is costing you money or not being utilized, donating it is a great way to give back. You may even claim a significant tax deduction!

                                                                                      Frequently Asked Questions:

  • What can I donate? You can donate almost any vehicle, including cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles and recreational vehicles. They do not have to be currently running. Your vehicle donation will be sold at an auction or to salvage depending on condition.

  • Is my donation tax-deductible? Yes, the African American Mutual Assistance Network, Inc. is a non-profit organization and all donations qualify as a charitable deduction on your federal income tax return.

  • What do I need to donate my car? The title of the car must be in your name. We will also need some information about where the car is located and the condition of the car. This will assist us in scheduling appropriate towing arrangements.

  • Will you pick up my car? A towing company will call you to schedule the pick-up of your vehicle. You will need to give the driver the keys to the vehicle as well as your signed title.

  • How is the value of my car determined? The IRS allows you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax form equal to the amount the vehicle sells for at auction unless it sells for less than $500. If your vehicle sells for less than $500 you may deduct no more than $500. If your vehicle sells for more than $500, you will need to include the IRS form 1098C. Vehicles for Charity will supply this documentation after your vehicle sells. We recommend you consult your tax advisor with questions about your deduction.

  • Where does AAMAN Vehicle Donors come from? Vehicle Donors come from all across American. Click Here and once there, scroll down to view our Vehicle Donor List updated quarterly.

The property donation Process:

Donating Real Estate,
gaining peace of mind.Donating real estate to a nonprofit can feel like a major weight has been lifted.

Whatever your situation, we’re here to help you make an informed decision

about whether donating your property can help you achieve peace of mind.

We accept all types of real estate donations: estates, land, houses, vacation cottages, farms, rental property buildings, commercial real estate, and more.

You may have inherited a house from a loved one that you have no use for, so you want to honor their memory by donating it to a nonprofit's worthy causes such as AAMAN's. Or, you purchased a piece of land with the intention of building on it, but never wound up having the time. So, each year you pay taxes for something you do not use.

Perhaps you invested in property, and over the years it accrued a lot of value. In some cases, the capital gains taxes you would need to pay if you sold, makes it smarter to donate and receive a large tax deduction.

How It Works

Like many real estate donors, your situation may be unique or even complicated. Our team can make the process of donating your property to AAMAN simple.

In many cases, we can still accept your property even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance, or have deferred maintenance. We will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed, and closing costs.
